สมาคมฟ้าสีรุ้งแห่งประเทศไทย, บางกอกไพรด์, และบางกอกเรนโบว์ ร่วมมอบธงเชิงสัญลักษณ์ให้กับผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดในประเทศไทย ในกิจกรรม “Kick Off มอบธงแห่งความรักทั่วไทย” ภายใต้แนวคิด “สมรสเท่าเทียม ยินดีกับทุกความรัก 878 อำเภอ ทั่วไทย (Embracing Equality: Love Wins in 878 Districts)”

The Rainbow Sky Association of Thailand, Bangkok Pride, and Bangkok Rainbow Organization joined together to present symbolic flags to provincial governors across Thailand in the event “Kick Off: Spreading the Flag of Love Across Thailand” under the theme “Marriage Equality: Celebrating All Love in 878 Districts (Embracing Equality: Love Wins in 878 Districts).”

Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, presided over the ceremony, joined by Theerarat Samrejvanich, Deputy Minister of the Interior; Michaela Friberg-Storey, UN Resident Coordinator in Thailand; ambassadors from various countries; the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of the Interior; provincial governors; district chiefs; human rights activists; and civil society representatives.

Participants exchanged views on equality in various dimensions.
The event also included the presentation of symbolic flags to governors of 76 provinces and Bangkok,
demonstrating readiness to provide services to the public under the marriage equality law.
